Marina did a special Japanese class on Ikebana and invited us to participate! Considering I didn't know Japanese or Russian, it was amazing how much I could understand based on demonstration alone.

Americans reside in Russia for the summer
Now that you know ikebana, get sensei Marina to teach you Japanese, too. No sense letting such a golden opportunity pass you by. This year Russia, next year Japan. Did you say she teaches bonsai, too?
